Goodness me, I suppose the EU is made of US client states as well, and Japan, and South Korea, and Latin America, and MENA, and most of Africa, and Southeast Asia. Really, anytime anyone does anything you don’t like, unless they’re Russia, Iran, India, or China, you can just decry them as America’s 51st state. Very convenient.
