    Generations made a few missteps. Like killing Kirk twice, for instance. Presumed dead at first, but still.

      There’s really only one banger TNG movie; Generations, Insurrection, and Nemesis all have pretty glaring issues.

        I have a soft spot for Insurrection. Viewed as a season splitting 2-parter, it’s a good story. As a film, it’s a slog.

          I totally get it, there are some episodes and TOS movies like that for me. Hell, for a long time I thought I was the only person on Earth who liked ENT.

            I didn’t love Enterprise, although when Manny Coto took over for the fourth season and just made it a big TOS tribute, it was lots of fun.

          That’s how I always felt about Insurrection. It would have made for a decent episode, but it’s mediocre as a movie.
