I thought very similar after the RHEL moves that Red Hat has made. I was thinking OpenSUSE or Debian, but I am still unsure as what I am going to do.
OpenSUSE is pretty great, especially Tumbleweed. Although the AUR and the Arch Wiki ultimately drew me to Arch, or Garuda Linux to be more precise. It comes with a lot of preconfiguration out of the box, most importantly btrfs and snapshots, on paar with Tumbleweed.
