I’m trying to stop using Reddit, but it having an app I know about makes it have quite an advantage.

I know there’s a few apps out there I can use to browse Lemmy, but I’m not sure about their names and the different features they offer.

Thank you for your feedback. This feature is currently not in the app at the moment but I can add this feature to the roadmap. If you could explain your use case for filtering that would also help a lot with how I will choose to implement this.

So when I tap the icon it automatically always shows “all” communities and “active” I would like it to know me, and my preference to stay at “local” and “hot”…

One of these is supported but the other isn’t. Currently you can select a “home” community by tapping the triple dots (top right) of a community (eg. when ur on “local”) and tap “Set as home page”.

The other feature to set a default sort order is not supported at the moment. I’ll add it to the road map.

To be honest even the “set as homepage” option doesn’t work smoothly at the moment so I need to do more work there. So much to do ._.
