Went down with a mysterious cough on Tuesday night. Seemed like just a bad cold Wednesday, got worse and added dizziness to the mix Thursday, now today the dizziness is gone (hooray) but whatever I’ve got has changed tack and is trying out severe nausea on me instead (booo).

Was supposed to be out tomorrow with a friend I’ve not seen since August. Not impressed.

So while I spend the next few days swooning around the house complaining about it like an actual child, I’d love to hear some happy things to focus on instead!

Weekend plans, amusing anecdotes, promises to avenge me should I not make it through, jokes at my expense, all equally welcome. For the love of god just distract me 😭

Husband seemed to be coming down with the cough part last night but is miraculously unaffected today so looks like a similar situation for us. Trust me to be the unlucky one! You’re talking in past tense anyway so sounds like you’re both over it in time for a nice weekend, make the most of it for those of us who can’t 🥲

(You know, I hardly watch any tv other than Star Trek reruns, maybe now is the time for a comfort watch after all, cheers)

Just wanted to update and say thanks for this suggestion, it is indeed a very comforting watch!

(turned out I have covid that just didn’t test as such for the first few days, bleh)

hmm I never tested for covid. It just didn’t feel like it was that to me. I rewatched series 1 after the suggestion. I still enjoyed it. The plonk comment must be series two. One of the best comedy deliveries I have seen in a while.

Thanks for the reply. Chin up, and I Hope you get better soon.

Turns out I had no idea what covid feels like, and what it’s felt like for me is a totally different thing every day. What an exciting rollercoaster of a week! Oh no wait I didn’t mean exciting. I meant bloody awful 😩

            Cheers!
