I have the Special Edition.
I got some updates from the Creation Club - including the survival mode.

But not the backpack.

.

The backpack seems to be behind the Anniversary DLC, which needs to be purchased, OR in the Creation Club that also needs real money to be bought.

Isn’t it strange to include survival mode to the Special Edition that drops the weight limit to 0.5 and then putting the backpack behind a paywall in the Anniversary DLC?
Especially when the survival mode talks about the backpacks but we still make an error when we assume they’re in the game WITH the survival mode automatically.

.

Is this one of those examples of making players to pay money to really have a feature that was promised to be had without extra purchases?

What’s crazy is that skyrim came out 12 years ago and they are still coming up with DLC schemes to squeeze more money out. There were only 5 years between Oblivion and Skyrim. Make a new game already, Bethesda.

@s1ndr0m3 I understood that TESVI is coming?

      .

I don’t mind paying for DLC’s, when the content is worth the coin.
What makes me feel suspicious is talking about X in content Y that I feel should be content Y but no, you need to buy content Z to fulfill content Y’s promise…
