Well, yes. But I’ll have chatgpt make them.

Only if you can’t fake the pretend work. If I can tab out and play counterstrike while on the clock, then it’s cool. But if a micromanager is watching the pretend work to ensure it gets done, then nah fuck that.

Yeah it does. Unless your boss is completely cool with you doing so and you don’t have to look over your back.

            In that case, rock on!

Work from home, get work done in two hours, just have to be present to answer emails timely while gaming.

I did like WFH, log into the meeting with camera and mic off and then just eat cereal or play games while listening to the meeting

Literally my current job. I’d estimate I only actually work about 30 hours per week on average, and generally spend the rest of the time relaxing. It’s a sweet gig, but I just wish the work I do spend my time doing was more fullfilling

Why do you work eight hours or more, we’d both have jobs if you only worked four

This is half the reason social services suck so much.

The other half is funding. But even with all the funding in the world, if the staff is a bunch of lazy asses, the service will suck.

The vast majority of social services are handled by state employees, not federal. Those state employees are often underpaid and overworked, and often only stay in their position because they understand the need too.

The problem with federal employees is that they’re often underpaid compared to similar jobs in the private sector. Most of them only choose to remain federal employees because it offers a lot better work life balance compared to the private sector.
