    All I got from this article is that the person who wrote it thinks people who work in fast food don’t deserve to earn a living wage.

    Personally I’d rather pay 50 cents more for my Big Mac and know that the person who made it can pay their bills and keep a roof over their head

          Libertarians believe that the compensation you earn is what the market dictates given productivity and other economic conditions. Terms like “honest pay” and “living wage” are meaningless and have no place in a serious conversation about economics.

            I agree. Just like the saying “work deserves compensation” is pure nonsense. I can do meaningless or even contra productive work nobody wants to pay for, why should I expect getting paid for it? Hell, why should I expect getting compensated for a discovery if I don’t use it to create a product that I can sell on the market? What is the product there? The mere idea of something?
