    Regulations are the most important part of any industrial society, capitalist or not.

      Regulations are a good tool if you must remain Capitalist, but will continue to be a band-aid on a gaping wound.

      Unions are much better than simple Regulations, though both help.

      Socialism is much better than Capitalism.

      Am I anti-regulation? Of course not, I just think it’s completely insufficient for fixing society’s ailments.

          No, it is not. Completely far from it, in fact.

          Capitalism is individual ownership of the means of production.

          Socialism is collective ownership of the means of production.

          Capitalism with regulations is Capitalism with regulations, and will never be Socialism.

            Thats not what socialism is at all. It can involve collective ownership but often utilizes regulation of individual ownership to for the benifit of the workers.

              No, definitionally Socialism is worker ownership of the means of production. It is a mutually exclusive form of economic organization with Capitalism. At most you are referring to Social Democracy, which is Capitalism with social safety nets, but cannot be considered Socialism.

              Please learn more about what you’re talking about, you’re very confident for someone who clearly is mixing up terms.
