Has anyone given Silo a look on AppleTV+? I’m a big fan of the books that it’s based on but I’ve heard very little in regards to the show. Opening episodes got decent reviews but I wouldn’t mind a normal person’s take.
Can’t help with a normal person’s take, but for me, it is one of the two shows that I want to watch as soon after an episode drops as possible at the moment (the other being SNW). The quality has kept up and there is plenty of good character development. Some people have said that it is a bit slow, but I don’t find that myself.
I’m really enjoying it, the set is really good and helps with the whole dystopian gloom, some of the acting is a bit iffy, but the storyline is good in a “makes you think” kinda way
Haven’t watched the show but just to out myself as a total idiot here, fun fact: I accidentally read the books backwards and didn’t realise, I just thought it was an artsy narrative structure 😂
