Most of them are okay. KJV is pretty bad too as far as translations go, but not nearly as malicious as NWT. For the most part, any regularly available translation will get the job done, there’s just a handful of ones that are deliberately or notoriously terrible, and NWT is right up there at the top of that list.

The Contemporary English Version or the Revised Standard Version are both pretty decent.
