4+ days?

This is the main reason why I don’t like doing online shopping. They give you all the shit that no-one in-person wants to buy; bruised fruit & veg, food with short shelf life. I’m a single guy, often have to freeze nearly everything I get online as otherwise it goes off before I can eat it all. 4 days is pathetic.

They usually have minimum spend too, so they literally want me to buy more food than I need then give me a load of food I can’t eat in time.

Use online shopping for cupboard items. Carrying 8 cans of tomatoes, 4 cans of beans and 20kg of rice is not fun.

Good shout… but now the poor bugger doing the deliveries has to hump it from the van to my doorstep haha. Looking like I’m moving in with my old man later this year so hopefully food waste will be less of an issue with two people.

Poor bugger has a trolley to assist him/her. If you have a trolley and a car, you can skip deliveries. But I live in London and driving a car to the shop here will take about a million times longer than walking there, so let the poor bugger drive a van through these roads, lol.

I don’t drive so am usually the poor (literally and metaphorically) bugger with a rucksack & holdall full of shopping, desperately trying to resist the lure of an uber!
