      Even if that wasn’t true, this particular anti-illegal immigration measure is excessively cruel and deserves to be taken down.

      What Republicans never admit to is that illegal immigration is a civil violation, not a criminal violation. Putting them in cages should not be legal. Attempting to cause them bodily harm if they make that civil violation should certainly not be legal.

          I don’t believe that this is an honest argument. The outrage is clearly about immigration. “Animal migration” is only brought up later when somebody says “if the walls don’t work why do you oppose them?”

          TBF I’m against the walls. Because I believe they do stop people. Because that’s what walls do.

        It doesn’t stop people from crossing the border and it costs taxpayer money to build. We have enough wasted taxpayer money in this country. Let’s cut out what we can.
