      Except when you force respect, then that is forced speech.

      Regardless of the free speech issues, you should respect your peers, but respect is meaningless if its forced.

        No it isn’t. Requiring respect for your peers isn’t compelled speech either. Don’t respect your co-workers? Enjoy not having your job anymore.

        You do have a choice:

        1. Respect your peers/coworkers

        2. Find employment elsewhere
