No one has issues voting against clubs they don’t like but imagine yuo’re a billionaire with global investments and suddenly you get Abu Dhabi and it’s many, many friendly companies, bankers, diplomats, bought politicians all leaning on you to not fuck up their global shining star. Or simply straight up bribing.
