The maidan being an “overthrowing” of the president is a Russian talking point because the leader was a Russian puppet. It was a protest in reaction to moving away from the EU (which the majority wanted) and authoritarian crackdowns. Also the NATO expansion excuse is the weakest fucking cope ever. There were 50 nato countries when Ukraine was maybe possibly going to join at some point in the future. Then Russia invaded to stop nato expansion. Now there’s 52 nato countries. Brilliant fucking plan. Not even touching the fact that it’s a defensive alliance.

Wanna know how to stop the war? Get Russia out of Ukraine. The fucking end.

Oh I’m sorry, I didn’t realize you were either a tankie or just a russophile. I’ll spell it out very plainly.

Russia doesn’t get to dictate what its neighbors do. Ukraine wanted to join NATO to prevent Russian aggression. The fact that Russia invaded to stop them from joining only proves the premise.

I am not a russophile. or a tankie whatever that means.

I hate putin’s Russia and believe he is a delusional dictator under whose rule I would personally suffer.

however, I am formulating a universal truth, that any country, doesnt get to dictate what their neighbors do, as long the neighbors don’t threaten its national interest.

          ting any bells??

well I agree with most of what you are saying, except the NATO part.

but at the end you close with a truly brilliant idea. if only it could become true.

      any ideas on that?
