I’ve been playing the first game on 3DS off and on, and while it has its faults, it is quite a charming game. I appreciate that I haven’t beaten this game yet, but I’ve overall enjoyed what I’ve played so far. I wish I tried this when it first came out. While it’s not a top-tier game, I’m pretty stoked about the Switch release. I might pick it up on sale once I finish the first one and determine if I want to enter into the series.
Spin-off games are a breath of fresh air from the mainline games. We need more stuff like this and I hope this game does well (granted of course, that the developers put love and care into this game like they did the first one).
