What’s the best order to watch the most universally enjoyed Star Trek series’ and movies? I really enjoyed Lower Decks as a fan of Final Space and Strange New World’s looks incredible. I want to start with the earlier series but not have to watch all of it!
Most series tend to be quite good as their own starting points. For some of them, like Strange New Worlds, or Enterprise, you might benefit from having the context of watching other show, but they’re usually also self-contained enough that it’s also not a necessity, although it might mean that some details make more sense.
Your best bet might just be to find a series that seems like you might enjoy watching, and go from there. Some people might like to go by in-universe chronological order, or a production order, but in my opinion, it doesn’t really matter. Just watch what you like, and move around as you want to.
Especially for the newer shows, where the in-universe timeline isn’t quite as linear as it is on the older ones.
