I don’t know that every match has to build towards something
It’s not just that these guys should be used to help new developing talent. They can put in a great match for sure, but for TV time etc they would be better utilized against Nick Gage and someone or the newly healed top flight.
We could have had the Righteous in this spot and that could have led to all sorts of interesting possibilities. Just an idea.
Maybe not but I feel like they are used as callbacks to bigger stories.
Cody said something about equity after Survivor Series and I feel like AEW is constantly trying to make up for it
AEW definitely struggles with storylines but I’ll be in the dirt when I listen to the guy responsible for some of the worst stories in AEW lol
