I don’t understand how the rest of Europe is still debating support for Ukraine. Are they trying not to offend Russia or something? They should be arming Ukraine to the teeth and providing them with so much ammo that Russia has the relative strength of Gaza in the Israel-Gaza conflict.
Sure, but what would that even look like in practice? Russia would be staving off a protracted insurgency that could last years. We know from Afghanistan that they don’t do the best with insurgents (who does though?). It’s certainly possible, but it’s not the outcome I’d bet on.
