        Indeed. We only have one bird that does the excess calcium thing and she isn’t a reliable layer. Her sister lays just as reliably but always has insufficient calcium resulting in very thin eggs that break easy. And because they are both blue easter eggers our other birds have discovered that half of all blue eggs are very easy to eat we seldom actually get any of their eggs before the birds do.
