    He was endangering hundreds of people. Fire alarm could have caused a panicked rush for the exits and there’s a reasonable expectation that he knew that. I don’t care what his politics are, he should be censured at the least. He shouldn’t lose his job, though. Maybe he could do some community service instead, like a 2 a.m. walk for a week with the security staff, so he can see what they have to tolerate.

        That involves a recall election and his two year term would be up anyways while the voters filed signature petitions, etc. Recalls take a long time, just look at Gavin Newsom.

      Why? Congress already decided that it was perfectly acceptable to just kick out people they don’t like. Why not kick out someone who’s actually a problem?
