From the things mentioned in the blog post, it seems like this is the open world legendary armor.
So probably exploration, jp, collections and stuff - at least i hope so :)
I don’t raid and don’t pvp, I gave up on getting WvW armor because it requires playing that mode like it was a full-time job, I would love an open world option like the amulet.
Open world legendary might get me to return, depending on the implementation. I got so burned out trying to grind out the PVP legendary, and I finally gave up when Grouch decided that criticizing their balance back-channels was the same thing as death threats. The best part of the game for me was always just running around and finding stuff to get into. It would be nice to actually have something to chase while doing it.
