Yes, this seems like to correct place to post when having technical issues. And if your post is better served elsewhere i’m sure someone will point you in the right direction.
A side note it seems things are evolving quite rapidly in all things regarding Lemmy at the moment. So expect some bumps and overall weirdness. There is a great getting started guide written by admin that i highly recommend reading through if you need or want to learn a bit more about Lemmy. Also this video seems to break things down quite good. Basically a How-to-Lemmy.
In the meantime you can try out different apps, Android now has a selection.
I recommend Connect for Lemmy, Summit and Liftoff. They are all on Google Play.
