Reminds me of the scene in Mars Attacks! when the first Martian saucer opens, and they speak, and the translator says a message of peace, and then they pull out disintegrator rays and begin to massacre everyone while the translator repeatedly broadcasts “We come in peace! Do not be afraid! We mean you no harm!”
All we need is a little poisoning of the water supply to make sure no one comes back, oh wait, they are trying the “no water” tactic this time around, never mind…
Edit to add: It’s absolutely tragic we are watching this happen and in the meantime UN resolutions are vetoed, resulting in more people dying, more children starving, and more diseases getting a chance of killing who are left.
There is blood on the hands of every government not trying to stop this atrocity.
