minus-square@[email protected]linkfedilink2•1 year agoIt wasn’t even good brand new. I had a lunar lander program that took like 10-15 minutes to load and half the time it wouldn’t even work, I’d have to rewind and start over. I don’t miss it at all.
I actually had a TRS-80 III with a tape drive back in the day. Not a great way to store data.
Properly stored, that tape will last forever.
