I find it less interesting that he got through the initial security screening and more interesting that he was noticed accessing, and writing down, information from JWICS and no one reported that up the chain. Though, I’m also not surprised that the DoD had no clue about what documents he accessed. There is almost certainly a Security Compliance item for “Data Loss Prevention software is installed and running”. So, it was probably on the terminal and running. And then fuck-all was done with the logs, because there’s no checkbox for that. And so, they just got over-written on the shortest possible schedule, to save disk space.
