But this just comes off like he wants to push for the ceasefire since thats what the base wants but the donors dont want that. So hes doing these things like puffing his chest out and sending stern letters while giving them lots of funding.
With a topic as divisive as this I feel hes gonna lose the support of one of those groups and might as well just take the plunge and lose it.
If I view it through the lense of politics and reelection I couldn’t agree with you more. If I give politicians the benefit of the doubt and assume they are acting in good faith I still believe having a nuanced approach is often necessary if not the best option.
