The Supreme Court said Wednesday it will consider whether to restrict access to a widely used abortion drug — even in states where the procedure is still allowed.

The case concerns the drug mifepristone that — when coupled with another drug — is one of the most common abortion methods in the United States.

The decision means the conservative-leaning court will again wade into the abortion debate after overturning Roe v. Wade last year, altering the landscape of abortion rights nationwide and triggering more than half the states to outlaw or severely restrict the procedure.

How long is this nonsense going to last? Or are all the judges too young to fuck off and be replaced?

I agree, and I’ve advocated for that very thing. Their black robes do not give them immunity to answering to those of us who are outraged by their behavior.

You mean the nonsense of hyperbolic headlines being so blown out of proportion by Social Media comments that they no longer resemble reality?

Could you add some clarity? Overturning Roe v Wade (to an outsider) seems very much not blown out of proportion, and further restrictions should also be deemed horrendous.

That, and the nonsense of people trying to spin social media into a bastion of delusion so they won’t have to feel guilty for what they know is the truth being posted.

The question of banning mifepristone isn’t before SCOTUS so every comment claiming it’s going to happen is brainless drama stirred up by headline meant to generate outrage.

SCOTUS isn’t “considering whether to restrict access” to mifepristone, they are going to find out whether or not the FDA followed its own processes as it relaxed the rules around prescribing and dispensing it. If SCOTUS says that the FDA didn’t follow it’s own processes then it will back to what it was in 2015 until the FDA does go through its processes the correct way.

No matter how SCOTUS rules though mifepristone will still be legal, still be prescribed, and will still be dispensed.

The whole thing is a stupid waste of time and money made worse by the chattering monkeys who aren’t at all interested in what’s really happening.
