    Unless they have reasonable articulable suspicion that you committed a crime or are about to, you don’t need to give them information. Bear in mind, if you’re pulled over they can pretty much manufacture a crime, there are so many traffic laws on the books. So you should show ID if you’re a driver pretty much always. And your ID has your address so you shouldn’t have to answer questions, generally better not to. But being a dick to them might solicit retaliation. Always record the police.
