        I mean in their defense they’re probably studying how to make a computer that can replicate a human brain’s neuron activity and not the historical terminology of a country on the other side of the planet.

        Don’t get me wrong, it’s not a great name, but I don’t think it was an act of gross arrogance, rather they simply didn’t realize the difference in cultural definition, which is completely understandable. Shit like that happens all the time, often producing comedic results.
