Cubensis grow naturally where I live (brazilian countryside). Those are the ones that showed themselves to me today

    Good question. Some of them look like Azurescens, but I believe they are all Cubensis. Their heads are not pointy, the colors are not as bright as Azurescens photos that I saw (never saw one IRL), the region is known for Cubensis (Azurescens are common in North America) and they were in horse’s poo (Cubensis are cropophagous) and not wood (like you would expect a Azurescens). But I would love them to be Azurescens, they are stronger and I have never tried them

      Yes, the substrate is very important in the identification, in that case I agree with you.
