Mine still chugs along, I upgraded, but keep my s7 as a backup. A friend of mine had an iPhone that bricked itself with an update one day out of warranty, so he’s using it right now until he can afford to buy a new phone. He says he’s switching to android.
Same. Edge model. Replaced the battery when it started to swell and let water in. One of the first and best IP68 phones. Even took it into the pool! It’s now rooted and I use it as a backup because I had no confidence pulling off the battery swap.
Ahhhh, yeah, mine was an edge too. It was such a good phone. I really miss the edge swipe functionality, being able to see the time and what notifications you have, without using always on screen or turning the screen on, was so very good. I miss it so much.
