minus-square@starman2112link7•7 months agoI’ve intentionally avoided reading anything specific about it because it is genuinely tragic, but I assume with rocket powered land-speed-record-setting cars, if you crash, you turn into physics long before you come to a stop

She died doing what she loved: going really fucking fast

I don’t think it was overly tragic.
People breaking those types of records do whatever they can to minimize the risks but they know what they are getting into.
