Thoughts on watching the Dr Who Specials
Pro: Davies’s writing has a panache and power that IMO was missing since s9 and was wonderful to see again.
Gatwa seems almost too good.
Con: The Tennant coming back and bigeneration thing didn’t really land and failed to shake the bitter aftertaste of the open cynicism of baiting fans back. Is Tennant-14 just gonna be around forever haunting every new doctor?

Theory: Tennant shall sacrifice himself to save Gatwa at the end of the Christmas ep, just after urging the people around him that he “wants to go”.
