Not to mention, they are very used to making poor decisions (see: invasions of Afghanistan & Iraq) and also not fighting back when their elections are stolen or interfered with. (See: Brooks Brother Riot and Trump election)

I like to look at prediction markets to get an idea of what the odds are, and it looks like the gamblers currently think there’s only a 52% chance of a Democrat winning the presidency. But, it’s really hard to tell what will happen right now. Trump, Biden, or both could die before the election. We may begin a recession. OPEC is cutting oil production, with some people hypothesizing it is to influence the U.S. election. Russia and other countries will likely ramp up disinformation like we’ve never seen before, powered by the new AI bots and deepfake technology.
