If you’re a publicly traded company, you’re legally required to be fucking dogshit. You have to meet quarterly expectations, and if you don’t you have to fire people to meet the “”“needs”“” of the shareholders. Father of 3, 300K in debt: “But we’re in the black! we’re making bank!” Wealthy Geriatric 110 year old corpse: “yes, but we didn’t make enough bank, so you’re fired.” This is a system of the utterly deranged.
Its not baffling, it’s the stock market.
