Man that still absolutely hurt but glad it’s out there to show for why we have to be worried of well funded alternatives with not much tracing on how they rose or got the funds.

The Green party didn’t even file all their paperwork for the last election and instead threw a tantrum about it. Pathetic that they are considered the closest to an 3rd party we might have.

i was. thanks for the reply, but what does that prove? i can get you dozens of photos of Biden or some other democratic personality in the same room with Putin

this whole thing about anyone who’s not 100% for the DNC’s choice of candidate must be a Putin puppet is paranoid

powerful people i don’t like nor trust will benefit from Biden’s election, and the same can be said about Trump. those are not the reasons to choose one over the other. the same applies to any other election

this whole attitude seems very obscurantist and very undemocratic to me

Anyone taking votes from Trump’s top opponent is doing this country a disservice. We have a first past the post voting system. Voting 3rd party is a vote against your interests.

This is the only correct take.

Imagine having the gall to run for office and take votes from the establishment because voters actually agree with your platform.

If you’re not voting for the blue team you need to get our head out of your ass and show a little gratitude. You don’t know what’s in your best interest, so don’t even think about any other party.

In fact, we should just ban all 3rd parties. That way nobody can be misled into thinking anyone other than Democrats are looking out for their best interest.

that’s an undemocratic appeal to the “tactical vote”. i respect anyone’s choice on how they use theirs, but after having been manipulated years ago on that premise, i have refused to do it again

I’ll respect the idea that they have a choice, I will judge them if their choice is stupidly anti-pragmatic, though.

The presidential race is fucked. We’re not making it fair any time soon, especially not with a vote for a candidate who doesn’t have a chance in hell of winning. The best we can do is ensure that the candidate who’ll do the least damage wins. Anything else spells disaster.

In the mean time, vote for better candidates in state and local elections, where an outsider has a chance at winning. And if they do, they have a better chance at changing the system so it doesn’t suck.
