I’ll take that eventually over right now though

It’s the difference between hitting the ground at 500 knots and hitting the ground at 200 knots. We’ll still be dead at the end but we’ll be alive and in terror a bit longer.

Because if I stop breathing I pass out and keep breathing. Just like elections keep happening whether I want them or not.

Ok but electing Trump (probably) won’t actually kill you, it’ll just make your life even worse for even longer. There’s no bedrock at the bottom of the hole, there’s no breaking point where the US suddenly collapses into complete anarchy, your options just steadily get worse. Accelerationism does not work.

Don’t get me wrong: I don’t want Trump elected. I just don’t expect to see anything but decline for the rest of my life and I’m resigned to it.

I think if these young voters would get on board with that they wouldn’t have a problem voting for it.

Sometimes I feel that way too, but I refuse to believe it can’t change. We were great once, we can do it again.

…shit I reinvented MAGA. You know what I mean though, great but not like that lol

The more I learn about US history the less I believe we were once “great.” Powerful? Sure. But not “great.”

Fair enough. For the first time, then.
