It’s the first court to find that the disqualification clause of the 14th Amendment applies to Mr. Trump, in addition to affirming that he engaged in insurrection.

At least something finally happened. Even if the SCOTUS strikes it down, at least an attempt was made somewhere to finally punish him for Jan. 6th. It feels like we’re just sleepwalking into letting him get away with it with no consequences and letting him try it again in 2024.

      Completely agree.

I would be shocked if the Supreme Court upheld this, but now they’re going to be forced to deliver an opinion on it.

But at least we now have at least one state Supreme Court calling January 6th what it is: an insurrection.

Gee, I wonder if insurrection-supporting Ginni Thomas’ corrupt husband will recuse himself … /s

Surely you jest, after almost 234 years the Supreme Court has ethics guidelines now, they have the highest standards now… or at least as high as they can limbo dance under.

Don’t cry happiness too soon, it’s just Colorado, an already Blue State. This being before the conservatives in the Big Supreme Court decides to squash this.
