If they could read between the lines at all they’d know Jesus wasn’t in favor of organized religion, but rather faith and religion being the way you treated other people.

The very concept of a church as an organization goes against his teachings, and is also ironic in the sense that protestantism is based on the idea that you only need the Bible, not a priest.
