The Van Rysel E-EDR AF e-road bike is now on sale at Decathlon in various EU countries. The lightweight model features a Mahle X35 system with multiple connectivity options and an accompanying GPS computer. Other features include an SRAM APEX AXS groupset and a 160 km (~100 miles) assistance range.
Why wouldn’t you be able to add a rack? You just need the size of the tire. It goes on the bolts that hold on the back tire.

You can totally install a standard rack, the bike frame has the standard holes, it looks like.
You’re right, I thought they were absent due to the geometry of the bike.
