It’s based on the Sumerian tales, which are pretty cool, actually. Then Babylon/Chaldea, Egypt reworked it a bit, then the Abramic, patriarchal bs came along. Jesus myths are pretty cool, but you know, they don’t like that part, except for the passion. They think that part was cool, but only the suffering, not the freedom of atonement and redemption, let alone ascension.
