Now that’s interesting, and not something I have contemplated. My initial response after having thought about it for all of the 60 seconds to rest your query, and start typing is “wasn’t it government that made it illegal in the first place?” But that doesn’t answer your question.

I’m going to have to think on that some more. Thank you for giving me such an interesting thing to ponder.

Glad to help. I may virulently disagree with the practicality of your position but I can respect the intent behind it as it comes from a moral position I also believe is valuable.

My state had two ballot initiatives this year. One I think is more iffy to your beliefs as it came with a lot of ifs and buts despite the fact that nothing it restricted wasn’t more restricted without it. But the other was a blanket legalization of abortion and stopping the government from banning it again. Even from the most anti government, washing your hands of all power perspective I struggle to see a consistent justification to not have voted on it if your beliefs actually come from a desire to allow people to make their own choices for their lives.

Thank you for engaging in good faith. Much appreciated. I find when people engage in good faith everyone might learn something even if in the end they still disagree.

You have absolutely given me something I must consider.
