Hey all! I’m new here – been writing fairly seriously for about a decade and been wading slowly into the publishing world more recently. Would love to get to know any other writers hanging out around here – what do you write and what are you working on?
I write a lot of fantasy/speculative, though I also do some short work in the space of memoir and CNF. Currently working on a novel about a girl whose voice is death.

I don’t consider myself a writer but I’ve been attempting to write recently to try and get an animated show that I’m working on off the ground.
Just wanted to pop in here to say that writing is hard and I respect the hell out of everyone who does it well. I’ve had to do a lot for this show and the writing is, by far, the hardest part.
It can be a lot harder than it looks! Even when you’ve been doing it for years – and I think a lot of even authors agree that every project throws up new challenges. No book or story is ever easy. What’s your animated show about?
It’s called Pajamazon and is about a group of warrior girls that help kids fight their nightmares.
