    “Substantial” for Australia, ay?

Well that’s just misinformation. What else is wrong in this graphic?

Exactly, also wrong for the UK. The common law offences of blasphemy and blasphemous libel were formally abolished in England and Wales in 2008 and then in Scotland in 2021.

Finland, Austria and Germany are also wrong. I don’t know the exact status of the written laws. But any application of Blasphemy laws would make the news and create major outcry.

        Germany, sadly, is true.

        https://www.juraforum.de/gesetze/stgb/166-beschimpfung-von-bekenntnissen-religionsgesellschaften-und-weltanschauungsvereinigungen

        Fast google translation:

Anyone who publicly or by disseminating content (Section 11 Paragraph 3) insults the content of the religious or ideological beliefs of others in a way that is likely to disturb public peace will be punished with a prison sentence of up to three years or a fine.

Anyone who publicly or by disseminating content (Section 11 Paragraph 3) insults a domestic church or other religious society or ideological association, its institutions or customs in a manner that is likely to disturb public peace will also be punished.

I’m Australian and absolutely nobody gets done for blasphemy here, ever. You can say what you want.

Probably everything in the last 2 categories is hyped way out of context.
