A teacher was busted for allegedly sexually abusing her 13-year-old student, reportedly having sex with him at least 12 times, sending him money via CashApp and having a pregnancy scare.

According to an arrest affidavit obtained by the Laredo Morning Times in Texas, Adriana Mariel Rullan, 27, had “sexual intercourse/sexual contact” with the student a dozen times, including at a middle school in the United Independent School District.

    Some places have really specific definitions for rape, ie “forcibly inserting your penis…”. So what women do to men can never be called rape even though it “is”. Using the term for cases where it doesn’t specifically apply would be libel and you can/would be sued.

      Sec. 22.011. SEXUAL ASSAULT. (a) A person commits an offense if:

      (1) the person intentionally or knowingly:

      (A) causes the penetration of the anus or sexual organ of another person by any means, without that person’s consent;

      (B) causes the penetration of the mouth of another person by the sexual organ of the actor, without that person’s consent; or

      © causes the sexual organ of another person, without that person’s consent, to contact or penetrate the mouth, anus, or sexual organ of another person, including the actor; or

      source:https://statutes.capitol.texas.gov/Docs/PE/htm/PE.22.htm#22.011

      while “rape” isn’t defined, it is often used to describe sexual assault.

      using “rape” in this context would be perfectly reasonable, and i think whoever wrote the article should have done so.

        I don’t think they can call it rape until after she’s been convicted of rape, unless they want to open themselves up to a lawsuit. Not sure if they could have said, “Allegedly raped,” or not, but I wouldn’t fault the writer or even the publisher for having to phrase it this way. I think their choice of headline was more likely motivated by legal pressures than any sort of bias against rape victims, male or female.

          You still have yet to cite any examples of your claim, dogpile or no. Stay in school, bucko.

            Is a government petition to change the definition enough proof? I don’t know why you couldn’t just google this simple fact yourself
