Just had an issue where I clicked on the link in a post but it was one of those shitty pages where pressing the back key on my phone just reloads the webpage.
So there was no way to get back to liftoff. I had to kill the app and reload.
I used to use baconreader and the same would sometimes happen where sites capture the back button somehow, but the browser wasn’t full screen. The app kept it’s toolbar at the top so you could always force close the browsing window if the website was misbehaving or doing infinite redirects etc.
Would something like this be possible? Or maybe there’s another solution?
The latest version, 0.9.19 gives you the option to use an external browser for links. That may fix your issue for the time being.
Can confirm this happened to me too, maybe inputs are not being processed fast enough? On boost I remember they solved this with a simple x button that would appear if you swiped up
