Google is having parents film their children wearing hats and sunglasses, with the collected data to include eyelid shape and skin tone.

Canadian tech conglomerate TELUS, which says it is working on Google’s behalf, is offering parents $50 to film their children wearing various props such as hats or sunglasses

    Rogers is fucking awful. Bell is worse. But only Telus is this eager to abuse its customers’ privacy.

    And they’re a growing player in the for-profit healthcare industry. Wonderful.

      Isn’t Telus owned by Bell now or some shit like that?

      Also, didn’t Telus cut service for a bunch of fire fighters in the middle of a really bad forest fire out west like 10-15 years ago? I’m vaguely remember something like that, but I could be wrong.
