CONWAY, S.C. (WPDE) — Conway police arrested the political director of the South Carolina Republican Party, along with her mom, on Tuesday in an assault that happened at the end of December.

Braylee Estep, 22, and her mom, Michele Stalvey Estep, 53, were both charged with assault and battery by a mob third-degree.

The charges stem from an incident that happened outside of Stalvey’s Watering Hole located in the 1600 block of 4th Avenue in Conway on Saturday, Dec. 23.

According to reports, the Esteps and another female suspect allegedly got into a fight with the victim and witness after the third suspect’s boyfriend was “hovering over them.”
